PROTOTYPE 562 Dual Sanitronic D50 Kirby Vacuum Cleaner Restored Vintage Antique - $750 - (Plover, WI)

I believe this to be an early prototype for the Dual Sanitronic for a number of reasons, some of which are: It has a Dual Speed switch (562 fan cover does not fit a dual speed switch, thus the part on the vacuum was changed to accommodate the switch). The coil/stator = motor are dual speed, thus it does not have a single speed motor in it like a 562 would.The motor housing was modified to accept a dual speed motor as the motor housing is a 562 part number (dual speed units used a different style motor housing).The floor nozzle is a 562 part number and was modified to accept being able to push down the dual speed switch (a normal factory 562 floor nozzle would not be able to activate the dual speed safety switch).Listing Details:There are 12 large size pictures showing the actual item I will ship to you.
