RCA Radiotron advertising figure wood segmented doll 1926 - $650 - (Simpsonville, SC)

"The Selling Fool" This very rare, 15 1/2" tall, wood segmented advertising figure, called 'The Selling Fool', "RADIOTRONS",was designed by Joseph Kallus, owner of Cameo Doll Co, Brooklyn, N.Y., circa 1926-30, for store display and distribution to feature RCA products after the popular Maxfield Parrish illustration. The strings holding the joints together are a bit loose. It appears to me the face has had some touch up paint. The condition is not bad. Most are much worse.Sold as is.
