Walnut Post Office Box Door Bank-1964 Nickel Plated Grecian - $65 - (Hutchinson, KS)

Made from 3/4" black walnut, these banks are 4 1/2" wide by 6" tall by 4 1/2" deep and have a US Post Office lock box door mounted on the front. These doors were manufactured in the by the Federal Equipment Company in 1964 and that is stamped on the inside the doors . All of them have similar original style red and gold numbers. They are the "Grecian" design and made of nickel plated brass which is very easy to keep clean. All of the banks in this auction are nearly identical to the photo. Of course the numbers will vary, but the styles are all the same. The combination locks work perfectly and of course the combo and instructions come with the bank. I have added a brass coin slot for protection and enhanced appearance. All of my banks come with felt pads on the bottom to prevent scratching.
