Crumar Performer VINTAGE SYNTHESIZER - $820 - (Wichita, KS)
The Crumar performer is one of the best sounding string machines ever made. There's a filter and resonance for brass, a low,mid,and high EQ for strings along w / crescendo, and both brass and strings each have their own envelope control and also individual volume. This one has the octave transposition switch. All keys play as they should, at least a couple of sliders can be scratchy or intermittent but work, there is absolutely no static happening when they are released.There are 2 slider caps missing. Some time in it's history someone installed an internal cord(as part of a mod to change from Italian voltage to domestic ?).The left end cap has taken a hit, otherwise the whole keyboard seems to be in reasonable if not good condition and it's output sounds good. This is one of those great finds I thought about keeping but right now I can't afford not to sell it. I need to insure this and I will pack it as safely as I possibly can.
