The listing includes: 1- Steel Tong, 9.5" long 1- 20 ml capacity Graphite Crucible. 1/4" thick sidewalls, 1-1/2" wide, 1-3/4" tall. High quality graphite can withstand temperatures of up to 2900°f. They can be used more than once. They are suitable for torches and furnaces/kilns. 1- 1/4 lb bag of Anhydrous Borax for smelting, melting, glazing crucibles, and casting gold as well as other precious metals. Borax is used in smelting gold and other precious metals as a deoxidizer which cleans impurities from the smelt. Borax is used as a flux thinner and it lowers the melting point of the gold or precious metal in the smelting process. It is commonly used as an assay flux or one of the components of a smelting flux to keep the metals clean during the smelting/melting. Also commonly known as Sodium Borate & Sodium Tetraborate.
