I do not know much about this vintage floss made in Canada by Beldings. It is twisted and quite thick and shiny. I cannot tell if it is silk or rayon or something different.The vintage paper labels are very cool. The Star Handcraft cotton is thick variegated cotton of 4 different colors, 8 yards. American Thread Co. Star six strand embroidery floss 2 skeins 8 yards each. The DMC cotton Perle is in 2 different colors made in France 27.3 yards each.
