Italian 18th century silk damask valance green textile Antique early 1700's - $2,100 - (Burlington, VT)

~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~A remarkable find. This wonderful textile is an Italian , 18th century silk damask valance. This textile is simply remarkable. Backed in a rough, coarse hand woven hemp and also a strip of solid silk and it is trimmed in silk. There are some wonderful hand mends. This textile is rare and wonderful ~ ~*~ ( I 11 ) MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately : 77.5 inches long by 16 inches drop at the deepest point of the scallop. CONDITION: There are some hand mends, and the silk backing is damaged.
