Mini Laugh-In Joke Books #1 & #3 ©1969 Gumball Machine Prize - $6 - (Ann Arbor, MI)

This listing is for two hard-to-find mini Laugh-In joke books ©1969. These books were distributed as gumball prizes. Included is one copy of Book 1 and one copy of Book 3. The books measure 7/8" x 5/8". They have a paperboard covers, a gum-type binding, and 46 pages of material (23 sheets). Each book begins with a b/w drawing of Rowan & Martin--creators of Laugh-In--and is followed by 2-page 'jokes' consisting of a drawing and a snappy comment about the drawing. Some of the drawings are of recurring characters and personalities from the show. I did not want to stress the bindings on the books so I couldn't take pictures of the contents. The bindings on both books are still quite tight. There are no rips or tears but the cover on the green Book 1 is a bit worn. Please feel free to contact me with questions.
