FURNITURE - $450 - (Pioneer, CA)

ANTIQUE KARPEN COUCH. Manufactured by Karpen Company with metal label. The wood appears to be solid oak. All original and do show wear, need to be re-upholstered. I can send additional pictures if you like. I added new webbing underneath because the seat had collapsed but the original webbing is still there. Belonged to my grandmother who passed away in 1970. She said she bought at auction and were from the Flood Mansion estate (in San Francisco?). I have seen chairs like this (only shorter) in the Western series of High Chaparral and the 1947 movie, Tycoon, with John Wayne. The couch is 81” wide, 59” tall and 28” deep.
