VINTAGE 4 ART DECO WM ROGERS SILVERPLATE GUILD PATTERN DRINK WINE GOBLETS &TRAY - $45 - (Highland Park, IL)
These goblets are thick heavy quality with thick stems. They measure 3 5/8" tall and the cup of the goblet is 2 5/16" wide. The silverplate to the outsides of the goblets are good. The insides have a few flee bites (see pictures). The bottom of the mugs read GUILD WM ROGERS & SON 5321 TS. They could be used as egg cups. The tray is the same quality calibur and measures 11 1/2" wide. It isn't made by Wm. Rogers, but matches well. It is marked ARDSLEY TUDOR PLATE ONEIDA COMMUNITY. It has the same vine pattern surrounding the tray that the goblets have surrounding their stems. The lovely pierced and embossed posies connected with six reciprocal scrolled vines are very typical to the Art Deco era. There are a few flee bites to the flat part of the tray.
