This USB duplicator solved a lot of problems with customers receiving bad flash drives in the early days. It has CRC check capability and the ability to compare the copies to the master. I know some people just copy data from their computer's HDD and copy to the flash drive, but there's no 100% guarantee that it all copied. It may appear that way, but you risk sending a flash drive to your end user with corrupted data. I have NEVER had a customer complain about corrupted data with the 6,400 + flash drives I have duplicated on this machine. There's no moving parts and no internal HDD. Your flash drive is the master. Please note this DOES NOT support USB 3.0. Maximum copy speed is 33MB/sec. But it does not always reach the max because not all flash NAND chips are of the same quality. It has a Measure Speed function to test the Read and Write speeds of your flash drives. You can make copies of bootable flash drives as long as the boot sector of the original flash drive isn't encrypted. Here are some of its features below. Copy & Compare The Copy and Compare function will perform both operations, one after the other. If the Copy portion passes without errors, the system will automatically start the Compare process. Place your master card into the reader port and your blank cards into the recorder ports. Press the ENT button on the controller interface. The duplicator will first copy the master card to the blank cards. When the Copy completes, the unit will start the Compare process. The display will switch from showing Copying- to Comparing- during the comparison. When the job is completed, the totals will be provided.
