The solitaire board game received its' name from the 18th president of the USA. While he was a general during the civil war.He had a fondness for marbles and the game. There is many field accounts during the civil war of hearing marbles clacking away in his tent while playing the game,on the eve of battles. This is a modern made board for sale. Beautiful mineral spheres with a lovely decorated board for sale. Makes a great decoration and a challenging game. 31 mineral spheres all in nm condition 1 of the spheres has been replaced with a regular marble Total of 32 spheres. The board has slight natural warp that does not effect play. I am unsure of the material used for the board. It is quite nicely decorated. Spheres are 1"diameter Board is 11.6" diameter
