Totally Awesome VERY HARD TO FIND Pair of American Silver Plate Candlesticks. These are TRULY STUNNING. Polished and ready to display on your mantle, sideboard, server, cupboard, etc. You will get endless compliments on these. These are by E.G. Webster and Sons, Brooklyn, N.Y. The firm began manufacturing in 1860 at 175 Broadwayin Brooklyn and was in business, using various names, until 1928 when they were bought by International Silver Co.In 1961 the trademark was changed to Webster Wilcox until 1981 when the business was sold to Oneida Silversmiths. They are marked on the bottom "E G Webster & Son Quadruple Plate". This mark was used from 1886 to 1928. 8 3/4 inches tall with removable bobeche. Excellent antique condition. These would make an outstanding addition to any collection. Display them proudly. Thanks for looking and purchases.
