Lovely Victorian C1880 Silverplate Folding Clam Shell Biscuit Box Made by Barker Bros. Birmingham, England Has owls and other heads in the unusual design It measures about 11" tall, 8" wide and 5 1/2" deep when closed. We open it is 13 1/2" long. It is marked with the Barker Bros. hallmark, a clover leaf with three stars. It is also marked 4D, SNEP, 31688 Very nice condition, the silvering is strong and intact, needs a light polishing. Estate found recently here in Maine. Guaranteed as described. Maine residents must provide copy of their Annual Resale Certificate or pay 5.5% sales tax.
