This is a very cute and nicely made battery powered toy made, I would guess, in the 1970s. The dog apparently moves his head, mouth, legs and tail. A corded two D cell battery holder has a three position switch with functions A and B and off. It all looks in almost new condition. However, sadly, when I put two D cells in the compartment, I could not get it to function. Perhaps it is something simple due to connections, although there is no sign of corrosion and the toy was not stored with a battery inside. The battery compartment has Rook Valley Toys, Iwaya Corporation molded in the plastic, and the dog has a made in Japan label. The dog is about inches 6 tall and about 6 inches long.
