This is my Spring Wine Rose Tub. We had a phenomenal spring and as a result the Roses in bloom were tremendous. This Rose was glorious in its simplicity but stunning nonetheless in its perfection. I love to bring the Outside In and incorporate the elements of nature into unexpected places. I customized the feet with an aging technique to match the feel of the wine rose. The rose painting is on one side of the tub in oil paint and the other side is solid Gloss white. It is designed for a right hand installation. If you desire painting on the other side to place the tub in the center of the room that can be done for an additional charge. If you need a left hand installation I can create another tub for you. This would make a fabulous Drink Station at Wedding or for A Party. If Roses are not your flower I am happy to paint a custom clawfoot tub to match your flower or the theme of your wedding! Condition: Tub is in its Original Porcelain Finish. It Will not peal or flake like coated tubs. The most desirable antique tubs are the ones that have original ceramic finish even with minor imperfections as they will not peal as the restored refinished sinks do under normal or heavy use. There is no refinish repaint method that is on the market that lasts. There is some staining around the faucet holes but the new faucet will cover that. There are some minor scratches in the bottom of the tub and some minor dings on the rim. Overall this tub is in excellent condition for its age. No rust around the drain. The interior of tub has been cleaned, sanitized and restored to its original condition except as noted above. The Tub shines beautifully. The Exterior of the tub has been sanded to bare cast iron Primed and carefully painted with three coats of gloss White Paint. The roses were custom hand painted on the tub.
