Silverplate Gravy Boat w/ Handle by F.B. Rogers - $8 - (Rock Hill, SC)

This item is a silverplate gravy or sauce "boat" withawooden handle. Both sides have a "valley" for the sauce to pour out. The bottom is marked with the crown and 1883 date...F.B. Rogers Silver Co. and the number 856. The gravy container is in very good condition, no dents and no wear in the silver. The boat measures about 6 1/8" long, 4 1/8" across, and 3 1/8" high at the pouring lip. The handle is 4.5" long.
