It has scuff marks, scratches, and general wear from use. There is no TV pass card installed. Please see the photos for more detail. Testing We tested the unit by plugging it in. It powers on fine, and the function buttons are all working properly. We were able to navigate the menu and alter settings. The alarm light remains on the entire duration that the receiver is powered on. We are unable to verify whether this is expected behavior or a fault. The backlight on the display is not working properly, but we were still able to see the text okay. This is the full extent of the testing performed. The listing is being sold as-is.
