Rare undated early Mixed Drinks Booklet Pre-Prohibition origin and assumed First Edition. Hannah and Hogg Fine Liqueurs are featured in this booklet and research indicates they were involved with the Crystal Bar but went out of business when Prohibition began. Cover Title: MIXED DRINKS: BREVOORT HOTEL, HOME of THE CRYSTAL BAR, Chicago; Compliments of ALUMINUM PRODUCTS, CO. LA GRANGE, ILL. First page of text includes illustration of a thistle, the trademark/symbol of Hannah and Hogg. 31 page booklet has two page detailed index at rear. As per Index, Drinks are grouped into the following categories: COBBLERS, COCKTAILS, COLLINS, COOLERS, DAISYS, EGGNOGS, FIZZES, FLIPS, FRAPPES, HIGHBALLS, HOT DRINKS, JULEPS, LEMONADES, MISCELLANEOUS, PUNCHES, SLINGS, SOURS, AND TODDIES. There is also a brief section regarding the Proper Service of Wines. There are about 200+/- Drinks recipes within. Excellent condition. Stapled booklet measures a bit under 3-1/2 x 6-1/2”. The red thin cardstock covers have applied aluminum-colored ink/printing titles and design. Booklet is strong and clean with light wear.
