Vintage Pristine 1950's Battery Op Rock 'N Roll Monkey Tin Litho Toy Guitar MIB Working Fun Action! Moves like a 50's country music rock star!Tin Litho, plastic, fur, and clothing are very nice and clean. There's a tiny black speck by mouth that appears to be from manufacturing/ speck of glue? Does not detract from cute face!Beautiful graphics.No rust or corrosion.Battery compartment and base are very nice.Very entertaining! All six actions working: Microphone lights up flashes red periodically, Right arm plays strums guitar with realistic sound, Body moves side to side, Head rocks forward and back, Monkey makes squealing sounds, Right foot keeps time continuous tapping.Maker: Alps co. c. 1950's. Original Box with inserts, as pictured.Uses 2 "D" Batteries (Not Included!) Has battery drawer that pulls out and is still attached to base with string.Base and guitar have wonderful graphics. A couple small ding/scratches along the edge of red base, as pictured where battery drawer pulls out. Measures Approx. 12.5" tall! Condition: Rare to find in this pristine near-mint to mint vintage condition, battery operated Rock 'N' Roll Monkey in Mint box, as pictured, from old collector's treasures. Has been safely stored away for years. No fading, brightly colored, with only a couple tiny rubs/surface scratches/dings on red bottom base edge where battery drawer pulls out and rests attached with string (see pictures) & tiny black speck mark by mouth (production flaw/old glue?), otherwise mint. Very well-cared for over the years and stored in box. Perfect Working Order. Taken out of box to picture and test with 2 "D" batteries (not included) and works very well with six actions as listed! Battery compartment drawer is excellent clean and still attached by string to base, as pictured.
