Beautiful natural (not dyed) gray Agate bookends, hand cut from a single agate geode nodule. Mined, cut, and polished in Brazil. This pair has semi-transparent cross-cut crystals on the front faces and bands of gray and creamy white on the inside matched faces. They look great either way! The outer edges and back of the pair are the crust of the original stone. This pair represents approximately 1/4 of the original agate nodule, made by cutting the rock in half, then cutting each half in half. The resulting quarters are then cut in half one last time to create a pair of these bookends. This pair weighs 4 pounds and 11 ounces, making them quite heavy enough to be functional. The pair measures approximately 6 and 1/2 inches across the front, 4 inches tall, and 3 and 5/8 inches tall. These are a great way to bring a touch of the natural world into your home!
