UPDATE 2: An Ebayer contacted me to let me know the wheel can be repaired with JB Weld. I repaired it today with the black JB Weld for plastic & now the unit is fully functional and moves under its own power! The repair is completely unnoticeable. UPDATE: I have spent a few minutes tinkering with this and it is now FULLY FUNCTIONAL and WORKING! All lights are working and blinking and the motor is functioning properly. It was just an issue with the on/off switch- I cycled it about a dozen times & it came to life! The drive-wheels just need to be replaced or repaired. I just am unsure of what type of adhesive to use to repair them so will leave that to the new owner. I have added two photos showing the lights working. This is a very rare Sears exclusive Bandai Moon Mobile Rocket Launcher. See notes on condition. This is a beautiful toy that looks new and will display amazingly in your cabinet. It is untested and has been stored since the late 1960's. Please ask questions if I missed anything here as I am not a collector of vintage battery operated toys- I purchased this and the Rocket Launcher (see my other auctions) in a lot of vintage boxed Dinky Toys & the former owner took very good care of his toys as a child.
