DON COSSACK CHOIR FOUNDER, CONDUCTOR, COMPOSER "SERGE JAROFF" SIGNED 1956 CHECK - $11 - (Lansing, MI)

This is a 1956 check (see picture) nicely signed by deceased DON COSSACK CHOIR founder, conductor, and composer SERGE JAROFF. Serge Jaroff was an officer in the Russian Imperial Army and he founded the DON COSSACK CHOIR, made up of other Russian Imperial Army officers. The Choir made its debut in Vienna in July 1923, and it became immensely popular in the United States in the 1930's, 1940's, and 1950's. Many of the DON COSSACK CHOIR albums are currently listed on eBay. Serge Jaroff became a United States citizen after World War II. Sadly, he passed away in October 1985 at the age of 89. This check is clean and intact, exhibiting the usual bank marks, cancellations, creases and folds. The signature is very legible. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Serge Jaroff enthusiast, Don Cossack Choir fan, or vintage autograph collector in your life! Postage is $3.75. And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases. Sorry, NO international shipping. Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
