This auction is for 1 Continental Colonial (Conn Stencil) Eb Alto Saxophone Repairman’s Special Serial # 539533. This sax comes with its original neck and a Bundy case. It comes with NO ACCESSORIES. Please see photos for further description. All pictures were taken in Hi Res so they should zoom well. If you want to see anything else just sing out. This saxophone is in very good physical condition and is in poor cosmetic shape. There is moderate to heavy lacquer loss everywhere due to rubbing, scratching and pitting. But the only dents or dings are 1 dent near the low C key on the bow and 1 small dent under the RH palm D key. The pads, corks and felts all need replacing. It needs a full over haul or it can be used for parts. The case is rough. It’s a terrible fit, but it will do for shipping. I am not 100% about the these horns. I don’t have a Conn 6M here, but I would bet it’s a pretty good stencil of one. The rollers, the LH spatula…I wouldn’t be surprised if this was not just a watered down version of a the Conn Artist Pro Line Alto. So overall, a very interesting alto project.
