Victorian Era Photo Album Book With Music Box, Velvet Cover and Brass Trim - $95 - (Orlando, FL)
Beautiful album from the 1800's, has some issues, but, considering it's age, over all in excellent shape and nothing that can't be restored. All pages need to be reattached. Last page is not intact. There are 15 good pages holding 60 - 4 x 6 photos and 2 pages holding 12 - 2.5 x 4 photos. Almost all of the pages are filled, plus there are several photos loose in the back, so I was able to read some of them. Most appear to have been taken in Kentucky, Missouri & Ohio. Names include Bro Ben Hamilton, W. T. Hamilton, Myrtle Gellards, Loise Joh-----, B. F. Hamilton and Edna Wright. Music box does work, but reluctantly. Pretty sure all it needs is cleaning and oiling. Brass decorations all in good condition. Beveled mirror on front needs resilvering (or not). Velvet cover is a green with tan designs. Slight wear on edges. Over all measurements are 10" x 12.5" x 4.5".
