Adopt Gladys a American Fuzzy Lop / Mixed (short coat) rabbit in El Paso - N.A. - (El Paso, TX)
Caring for a bunny is like taking care of a dog or cat in the sense that they'll need to be brushed regularly and will need toys to keep them occupied and stimulate their active little brains. Rabbits are actually really smart and can be house broken and learn other tricks just like dogs or cats, it just requires a little patience. Diet must consist mostly of fresh grass hay and vegetables like spinach, kale, and carrot tops. Pellets are more like the equivalent of potato chips to a human, so very little of it should be a part of a rabbit's diet. Bunnies like to chew on stuff (this could be a problem for all the cables in wires in your household) so make sure if you are going to cage Gladys, that you use a large cage and let her out for a couple of hours a day for exercise (supervised of course!) Happiness has never come in such a lovable little package (just look at that little Bewitched nose crinkle)! So adopt happiness at the HSEP! Happiness Happens at the Humane Society of El Paso!
