VTG - Reads “Century 1901” Tin Toy Buggy Battery Op Car! Japan,Nice Collectible! - $86 - (Watkinsville, GA)

This is an old collectible tin buggy car! It says Century with a 1901 tag on the front and back. Also says it was made in Japan on the back of buggy seat and on the bottom. I found this in my mother-in-law’s storage building with other old stuff. It is in pretty good condition considering its age. It is missing the buggy driver. I have not cleaned it up at all,afraid to mess something up. It does have rust on it and the wheels are wobbly,kinda sits sideways. It is very fragile .The underside looks pretty good. The switch goes back and forth that turns it on,it takes 2 batteries which I don’t have- says UM-1,1.5 V. So I do not know if it works!The mechanism that I guess would make it turn still moves underneath. It measures ~ 9 4/16” length by ~6” height by ~5 1/4” wide. It really has a great design,the coloring still looks good,it has bent areas,and I am not sure what else could be missing. Just an old wonderful collectible tin toy! Sold as is,no returns. Thank you.
