UP FOR SALE IS A 5" STERLING SILVER SOUVENIR SPOON FROM PIPESTONE MINNESOTA Beautiful Engraved Design of a School Building Inside the Bowl. Handle includes an Embossed Design of an Indian, a Book, a Cross and Skull, etc., Surrounded by Scroll Work. Says "Indian School, Pipestone, Minn." Inside the Bowl. The Indian on the Handle Might be a Graduate. Description: Marked "Sterling" on the back of the handle. Maker's mark is of the two birds surrounding a shield with the letter "M" inside. I don't know its exact age but I believe it might be 100 years old. Approximate Measurements: Bowl: 1 3/4” long Handle: 3 1/2” long Handle width: 3/4” at its widest point Overall length: 5” Weight: .4 oz. or 12 grams Condition: Very good antique condition. It was recently polished and is shiny and bright. There are just a few tiny scratches. Edges are smooth without nicks or garbage disposal damage. See images.
