Buyer will receive six (6) antique, octagonal salad/luncheon plates in the ROSELAND chintz pattern from CROWN DUCAL, A.G. RICHARDSON & CO., ENGLAND. Plates measure 8.5" in diameter, trimmed in gold, featuring a pink floral chintz pattern, and a pink rose border on a black matte background. Plates are in excellent condition, without chips, cracks, or repairs. All plates are hallmarked; all show crazing on the back. These are in exceptional condition regardless of age:Set #1 has one plate with some discoloration on the back and one plate with a 'crease', see photos 4 and 5. The 'creased' portion occurred at the time of manufacture and was painted and glazed over.Set #2 has two plates with some discoloration on the backs, photo 9.I also have the matching octagonal bowl listed, in equally fine condition. Please keep in mind that these are almost 100 years old and may have imperfections or inconsistencies due to age or production. I've really done my best to inspect, photograph and describe them.
