Etched Crystal Bud Vase & Weighted Sterling Silver Holloware Duchin Creations For consideration is this vintage etched clear crystal bud vase with a weighted sterling silver hollowware base by Duchin Creations. The vase measures 10 inches tall, the mouth measures 1¼ inches in diameter and the base measures 2½ inches in diameter. The etching is a floral design, the base has a single rope around the edge and the base is marked “Sterling Weighted” with “Duchin Creation” and the hand logo. There are no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs noted and the patina is natural. The original box will be included. Buyer will receive FREE shipping. Thank you for looking! NOTE: Maurice Duchin started Duchin Creations in New York, N.Y, in 1944. It is believed that the 'hand' trademark dates to the 1950s (most likely earlier), and was still in use in the mid '70s. The hand represented family member Eddy Duchin, a famous pianist and band-leader of the 1930s and 1940s. It is believed the 'hand' mark ceased being used by the '80s. Many Duchin Creations, silverplate and other gift type items, were sold retail in the fine gift, silver and china department of upscale department stores.
