Marks, Nets, Color Variations & Bubbles (#34)* This is a group of three unique small glass Japanese fishing floats. Each of the floats are approximately 2 1/2" in diameter although they do vary a little in size. They are made of hand blown glass. These Japanese fishing floats were actually used and have spent much of their lives at sea. Each have been picked out of hundreds of beachcombed and Japanese fishing floats to offer because of its unique qualities and characteristics. Their thick glass contains impurities, inclusions and bubbles that are intrinsic to the Japanese manufacturing process. They are in good and sound condition with the normal wear one finds on fishing floats that have survived years of use in the ocean. They each have makers marks and nets (see photos). They have subtle color variations in pale blues and greens. They have many bubbles in the glass. Every vintage float is different and these each have many beautiful unique features (see photos).
