a new tube set for your Hallicrafters S-40 & S-40a receivers that use 6F6, 6J5, 6H6, 6SQ7, 6SA7, 6SG7, 6SK7x2, & 5Y3 type tubes all tested and ready to go. NOTE!!!! some very early S-40's had a type 80 tube in place of the 5Y3, in that case you would get a checked used type 80 tube or a solid state 80 rectifier, You will have to let me know when paying if you would need the 80 tube.
