We had these made for use with our heat pump water heaters. They are made to be used with water or antifreeze. They also have a drip pan so they are reversible when being used for cooling. The drip pan is for catching condensate.These units can be mounted on the floor, wall or ceiling. The condensate pan is adjustable. The fans on these convectors are for 240vac. They come with a separate digital control which you have to wire in. The digital display is different than what is pictured. The unit can be operated without the control. The fans have three speeds. The convector has removable air filters which can be rinsed with water. The unit comes with a 110v line cord and plug. The plug needs to be cut off if the line cord is used. It does not have to be used since you can hard wire directly to the unit's terminal block. This unit, FC7, is rated for a maximum cooling output of 12,283 btus/hr. The maximum heating output is 18,430 btus/hr. The dimensions of this unit are: 42"wide x 10" deep x 23" tall. It weighs 62 pounds.
