You are bidding on an U.S. Indian War Cavalry Helmet with Golden Yellow Plume. The eagle has crossed Sabers and the side buttons have crossed sabers and the plume is the Golden Yellow Cavalry Branch Color so I am pretty certain that this is a Cavalry Helmet. Helmet is marked in the top vent RAYMOLD & WHITLOCK. There are also markings on the inside helmet on the plume base but they are obscured by the brass vent with wing nut. The helmet is size marked on the brown leather sweatband 7 1/8. This came from an old collection. I combine shipping on multiple purchases.
