The player was in use and functioning at a local university. The unit powers on. The display is clear. The recorder accepts the tape and responds to buttons being pushed. I did not have the cables to test the picture that the unit would produce. While I don't have a lot of experience with this unit, I did not notice any flaws in its operation. It appears to be fully functional. Cosmetically it looks very good. It does have the university labels/markings but it is otherwise clean. It comes with the 3/4 tape as shown in the pictures and video.
