This is a very lightly used Heritage Audio HA 73 Jr. 500 series microphone/DI preamp, serial number 1311088, in excellent condition (note that the sale is for the preamp only, and does not include the Radial Cube power supply shown in one of the photos; the power supply is for sale in a separate auction). The HA 73 Jr. is a high quality mic preamp based on the Neve 1073 and gives a robust, studio quality sound to both vocals and instruments. What makes the HA 73 unique is that it includes controls for both input and output, which can be controlled independently to achieve a coloration and character not found in most preamps. It also has a very high quality 1/4 inch DI input which is outstanding on guitar, bass and other musical instruments. The sound of the HA 73 is described by many as beefy and chesty, with a saturated sound like that found in vintage equipment. It includes push in switches for mic, line, phase, pad, 48 volt phantom power, and slope. The HA 73 Jr. is a 500 series preamp that will fit in any standard 500 series chassis with an appropriate power supply (not included). This unit is very clean and very lightly used, with no dents, scratches or blemishes (I am reluctantly parting with it only because I am scaling back part of my equipment inventory).
