Offering an antique Baccarat crystal Cabaret Set with a very heavy gold Louis XV style gilded embossed design. An identical decanter with a different gold embossed design is pictured on page 160 of the book "Baccarat" by Jean-Louis Curtis. The book dates the decanter 1895. STUNNING! This beautiful set includes an 11 3/4" square gilded tray, 10 3/8" tall gold enameled decanter, and six (6) 3 3/4" gold enameled cordial glasses. Condition: shelf wear on the base of the tray, two flakes on the edge of the rim of the tray, a very small bruise on the stopper end of the stopper, and one of the cordial glasses has an interior hairline on the base of the bowl. Hand blown with finely polished pontil on the base of the decanter and polished cut rim on the tray. Please see photographs as they are part of the description.
