DBX 242 Project 1 (Bob Orban designed) parametric EQ - $200 - (Philmont, NY)

The legendary 242... Scratched-up top and bottom... but front face and back look good... it functions perfectly. Designed by Bob Orban, the EQ genius.These are very well regarded parametric EQ units on the cheap. It's not only clean and quiet, but has some interesting features. The most important are high-pass and low-pass shelving filters with switchable (6dB/oct and 12dB/oct) slopes, and parametric bands capable of infinite notching at one frequency. This can be very useful if you are trying to get rid of hum or some other interference with fixed pitch.
