Antique Italian Bronze Folding Photo Frame with Stand Ornate Appliques - $469 - (Highland, CA)

This is a lovely Italian picture frame for a very special photograph. The frame has a heavy easel-type stand attached to the stand. It has an unusual book design with ornate appliques on both doors. The backside of the doors and the backplate have an elaborate embossed scroll design. When you open the doors, there is a paper backing that is marked Grafiche Tassotti with an 1886 date on it. The frame measues 8 1/2" x 9 1/2". This is in excellent condition with great patina. The only flaws are that it is missing one nut on the back and the leg of the easel back is bent. It could be bent intentionally to improve the stability of the stand. Please check all of the pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding.
