Here is a PHENOMENAL diamond willow carving blank! Some characteristics & measurements are: Large WIDE top! The one side has a HUGE deep diamond shape & the opposite side has fine twisting ridges among insect patterns. Lots of interesting INSECT entry patterns on the upper 1/4 of the blank. These really add intriguing & natural beauty once finished. I removed a little bark to show a glimpse of the beauty below.It'll have BRILLIANT reddish brown color variations. Diameters average about 3 by 2 inches on the larger end & about 1-1/2 inches on the bottom. Light weight for its size....only weighs about 3 lb. 12 oz. Length is at 61 inchesHard & extra sturdy Dried & ready to be carved. The bark is firmly attached. Covered with diamonds & long interlocking reddish brown color.This Staff will be a RARE SHOW-STOPPER once finished with all its unique character! This is Staff will be more for strutting around...probably too heavy for long trekking adventures.
