Unframed Unstretched Nautilus Shell Large Silk Screen Print From Grand Haven, Michigan artist Sweet Silk screened on canvas Teal and Tan on “ivory” canvas *PLEASE NOTE: right side shows the uniqueness of silk screen printing, the depth of the teal wavers and is missing in spots. This uniqueness is sought after by collectors who cherish the evidence of an artist’s hands on a work of art. Stored in my parents armoire drawer for years, unexposed to sunlight or dust. They collected, but never displayed this or other Marüska silk screen printed canvases. Size estimated at 28.5-29” x 31” We live a short distance from Mr.Sweet’s studio-shop. Some of our iris canvases are labeled “Sweet” predating the MARÜSHKA branding. All will be listed ASAP. OOP (I believe I bought this for a gift in around 1983-85? I remember buying several in Grand Rapids, Michigan at a large sale)
