Georgian, 18kt y/g Amethyst Suite 18kt Yellow Gold Georgian, c.1820 Amethyst Suite with Cannetille composed of: Necklace, Pendant/Pin that attaches to necklace, and Earrings. This suite is in excellent estate condition. The necklace measures 16 3/4" long, with six oval faceted amethyst graduating in size from 24.5 mm x 22.95 mm to 19.28 mm x 15.71 mm, twenty-four amethysts that make up small flowers that are 5.25 mm x 3.75 mm, and six small round faceted amethysts that make up the flowers center that are 1.2 mm.The articulated earrings measure 2" long, with two 21.87 mm x 10.86 mm pear shaped amethysts and two 10.66 mm x 7.85 mm oval amethysts.The articulated pin/pendant measures 3" long x 2" wide, there is one oval amethyst that is 11 mm x 7.93 mm, eight assorted pear shaped amethysts that range in size from 16 mm x 11.64 mm to 8.9 mm x 5.4 mm, and one round amethyst that is 13 mm. There is a removable section containing one round faceted amethyst that allows the brooch to be a pendant, or can serve as a small drop from the main necklace. The amethysts weigh approximately 101.89 ct, which was estimated with a formula by a Graduate Gemologist. Comes with original box.
