Black San Il deFonso New Mexico Pueblo Pot, circa 1950's - $450 - (Omaha, NE)

Black on black pottery from San il de Fonso in Central New Mexico. Pot is signed by artist but much of it is obscured. Part of name looks to be Francis but much of the rest is obscured. Since item has been signed that does help date it as 1950 or newer as signatures were not often used until tourist demand escalated around 1950. Pot is older and has some minor age marks on it, but is still very nice and in otherwise terrific shape. Pot is approx 6 x 6. Shipped insured in the USA
