Intro to Mediation Skills Workshop March 28 and 29, 2019 - N.A. - (Carrboro, NC)

Mediation skills can be applied within a wide variety of situations: an employee dispute, a community controversy or a quarrel between family members. The mediator acts as an impartial 3rd party to facilitate communication between the disputants and to support them in reaching their own decisions. Presentations on the mediation process will be alternated with opportunities to practice through role plays. These will be supervised by experienced DSC mediators who will offer feedback and support.
