Poole Pottery AEGEAN Wall Plate / Low Bowl - Mid Century Modern Abstract Carved - $40 - (McMasterville, QC)

Beautiful plate in the Aegean pattern from Poole Pottery of England. This mid century modern pattern features an abstract carved floral design, glazed in warm Mediterranean tones of red, umber and brown. The raised design makes it unsuitable for use as a dining plate, but it is quite wonderful on display, either on the wall, or used as a fruit or other serving bowl. Stamped on the bottom: Poole England with the dolphin mark, and the pattern name, as well as a '3' for the shape number. Size: 8" diameter Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks, crazing or fleabites. Please forgive the flash glare in the photos.
