Rare Early Volland Raggedy Ann Doll Hand Painted Face Cottage Industry Folk Doll - $1,500 - (Horsham, PA)

This is an early volland or cottage industry raggedy Ann. Has the rare painted face not the printed face. She has those very early crude shaped hands and high boot feet. She also has the early faded brown floral dress, a picture of her in an Andrew Talbot identification book is included in the last photo. The has an old tear where her wood heart is, the heart is still there. Overall age darkening/soiling. She measures 17” (Andy is not included).
