Please email with any questions. Antique, Victorian era cast iron fireplace cover, 26 1/4" tall, 20 1/4" wide, "28316T" pattern number embossed on the back of the oval center. The romantic, image shows a woman filling a pitcher from a wellspring fountain and a man with his hand on a devoted-looking dog. The surround has a hammered or pebbled texture with laurel leaves and ribbons. It has an old coat of metallic gold paint and spritzes of metallic silver paint. Some fine surface rust on the back side. No cracks or damage, solidly made, weighs about 24 pounds before packaging.
