U.S. Boilershell Battleship Indiana 1892 Weight/Paper Map Room/schematic weight 112018 - This is said to be an original item from (or used in the making of ) one of the earliest U.S. Navy battleships. The U.S. Indiana was said to have been authorized in 1890 and commissioned in 1885. This is truly a Rare find item showing "U.S. Boilershell Battleship Indiana 1892" engraved. Its actual use is unknown but guessed to be from with the ship's map room or to hold the schematics during its production as its 1892 date shows to be before the ship was actually commissioned (in 1895) . This weight is 1lb- 6oz in weight. This weight comes exactly as shown, showing wear and age with its neck at a slant. This weight has survived longer than the actual ship and is a great find, perfect for the enthusiast, historian and collector indeed. Do not pass it up, you might not ever find another....
