Vintage Artisan Made Landscape Jasper Brooch/Pendant By ( Marolyn Aasen ) - $12 - (Kamloops, BC)

This landscape Jasper brooch/pendant was made by an Artisan named Marolyn Aasen. Still in original box it was purchased . I added a small chain I had. Jasper measures approx. 1 3/4 inch X 1 1/2 inch oval. Looks like it has hardly been worn. Jasper is a massive fine grained variety of Crypto-Crypotocrystailine Quarts with lots of mineral contaminates while the material was forming, The manner in which these impurities layered often appear as impresionist pictures they resemble scenic views of a landscape. Some of these mineral colors can be viewed as images of the sky, water,mountains,trees, hills and even plants and animals. Please look at pic's and shipping before bidding.
