We will explore the history of protest songs by listening, watching videos, and by group singing. No prior knowledge or singing ability is necessary. Based on a twelve weeks seminar series, Michael will select certain social issues he will cover which might include civil rights, unions, peace, Latin liberation movements, women's rights, and the environment.
